After these amazing cities of Milan and Venice we headed towards Toscana, which is one of those spots in this world where one could easily spend the rest of his/her life.. First we stayed in Florence, and the spent a few days in the amazing Siena. What an incredible city, and so much great music going on!!
So sorry I haven't been too active in this field for a while. There's been quite a lot of changes going on recently within my family life, which has taken its toll. But now I'm happily back in Italy with my fantastic kids, and we're enjoying our stay here fully!
(The summer campus for this year was cancelled for several reasons, but I will start working on a new edition early this fall, and I'm positive there will be a better organized and more happening campus coming up for the summer of 2015!)
Our trip here will cover a great part of Italy, starting from Milan and Venice, visiting Tuscany and Rome, and finally going to our beloved Salento for at least 10 days. In Salento I'll be performing with the great pianist and good friend Francesco Negro and the fantastic tenor saxophonist Martin Jakobsen, plus a whole lot of other great musicians. I'm very much looking forward to that - and as well looking forward to having a great time on the beaches of Salento (Otranto, Gallipoli, etc) with my kids!
In August I'll post more details on the performances and and projects for the fall.
Hope you all are enjoying the summer fully!
